Basics of Dips, Dressings and Soups

Here are two simple ways of creating dips, dressings or soups:

Fruity

Blend any juicy fruit (eg. Papaya, orange, pineapple, kiwi, mango, pitted cherry etc.)

bell pepper,

tomatoes.

with herbs/ green leaves of choice, celery,

Add other flavours if required initially like onion chives, chilli powder etc.

Multi purpose dip [1024x768]

Lower Fat

Blend any sour or non sweet fruit (eg. Orange juice or kiwi or mausambi juice or pineapple or tomato, or strawberry etc.)

with 1 Young coconut cream; or ½ Avocado

Add 1/3 rd of chopped zucchini or 2 pieces of Round groud (Tinda in Hindi)

fresh/ sun dried herbs to taste

Add lemon juice to taste if required

Add other flavours if required initially like onion chives, red chilli powder etc.
